In the recent years, sustainable construction is increasingly popular, especially in terms of ecology and the inner climate. This predominantly concerns commercial office buildings in which the achievement of an adequate standard and inner climate of rooms is often the most important criterion for the customer renting the premises. The analyzed professional literature indicates that the costs borne by potential tenants, the owners of the buildings and the society as a whole, caused by adverse inner environment conditions in office buildings are often much higher than the costs of the use of energy in the building. A good quality of inner environment has a significant impact on the efficiency of work and learning and decreases the number of sick leaves of employees. The above aspects are of the highest importance and should be considered already at the stage of design and construction of office buildings. The paper shall present the results of research conducted in the innovative MLBE (The Ma?opolskie Laboratory of Energy-Efficient Construction) building, regarding the inner microclimate of office and laboratory rooms, in view of the external environment conditions in the period of October 2017, measured by an automatic weather station located at the northern side of the building.
