In constructing the marine pipelines, the concrete weight coated pipes are used to create a negative buoyancy coating and its protection from the external mechanical damages produced by icebergs, trawl nets, anchors, dropped objects. So far, no requirements have been formulated for the determination of the stress-strain state of the concrete weight coated pipes laid using the stinger (S-lay) system. The structural analysis carried out in accordance with the standard requirements does not account for the negative buoyancy coating. This paper presents the ANSYS finite element model of the stressstrain state of the pipeline depending on this coating. Finite element model of the S-lay marine pipeline installation is constructed for the determine task conditions such as pipeline diameter, wall pipe thickness, thickness of concrete coating, sea depth etc. The displacement and internal forces were analyzed for the pipeline with concrete weight coating. The stress and strain fields both in the base metal and the concrete coating over the pipeline length are come up with result. It has beet established that the highest stresses division for pipeline is located on the top of welded joints.
