One of the problems of Russian enterprises that independently control the oil pollution of circulating water and wastewater is the availability of appropriate analyzers. However, they should not burden the budget of an average enterprise. Two types of analyzers are considered in work: IR analyzers and fluorescent analyzers. The studies were carried out on standard samples. It is shown that for IR analyzers the deviation of the obtained results from the calculated value does not exceed 3% of the relative. The obtained measurement results are practically invariant from the type of oil contamination. For fluorescent analyzers there is a strong dependence of the result measurement on the type of oil product. Since the fluorescence intensity of oil depends on the content of fluorescent hydrocarbons (markers), mainly polyaromatic.
