The article is devoted to newly prepared methodology for survey, georeferencing and display of buildings in 2D and 3D, which is processed within the project "Omega 3" with support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. The methodology is to establish a standardized output of geodetic surveying the interior and exterior of buildings, applicable to all types of buildings (residential, commercial, office, industrial, agricultural, equipment and infrastructure, rentals, recreational spaces) in order to ensure a uniform way of calculating areas of the interior and focus exterior of buildings. The new methodology modifies and expands existing procedures surveying buildings, also focuses on new measurement techniques such as laser scanning. The current procedures are not sufficient, it is assumed without measuring that the walls are mutually perpendicular and are measured rooms that belong to other categories than the living area, is not uniformly provided spaces to acreage areas include and which not, it creates incompatibility data. The methodology is based on international standards and recommendations CLGE - European Geodetic Surveyors for survey buildings, measurement ground and underground spaces in 3D views, defines the rules for measuring the form of standardized output passports flats and focuses on the process to ensure data compatibility with digital cadastral map.
