In essence, the paper presents the tracking of the behavior in time of hydro-technical constructions by establishing the horizontal displacements (dx and dy) compared to the base tranche and the previous tranche, and also the processing of these measurements and establishing conclusions and recommendations regarding the behavior of the objective taken into study. As studied objective was elected C?nde?ti dam, which is located in Buz?u county, at about 19 km upstream from town Buz?u. The dam is situated on the Buz?u river in C?nde?ti locality, having a height of 26 m, a length at the crest of 96 m and 6.66 km of dykes around the lake. For the micro-triangulation stage, respectively for the directions and distances measurements, were used Leica TS02 Plus R500 total stations. The measurement accuracy of this total station is 1? for angular measurements and 1.5mm + 2ppm for distance measurements. The measurement method used for the micro-triangulation was the horizon tour method, from each pilaster three series of measurements were made. The compensation of the micro-triangulation network was carried out in block, using the least squares method, being considered as fix points three of the pilasters. Determining the horizontal displacements of buildings or parts of the building, is an absolutely necessary component for a correct interpretation of the phenomena that occur with the structure or the shape of the construction, the foundation soil, during exploitation period.
