The planned maintenance activities of the mining technological equipment are carried out on the principles of risk management and is done in order to prolong their duration of operation and to reduce the production cost. The quick possibilities of reducing production losses due to accidental stoppages of quarries and underground exploitation equipment, depend on the establishment and application of reconditioning methods of the subassemblies and spare parts that are frequently defects and replacement. The rotary and percussive drilling bits, excavators and loaders teeth shows high specific consumption that negatively influences mining activities both through the time consumed for their replacement and the costs they require. The elaboration of the reconditioning methods based on the preliminary study of the teeth wear allowed to obtain notable results regarding the establishment of materials and technological regimes suitable for specific working conditions, but also the costs method. In the paper are presented the positive economic aspects of the enterprises that applied the reconditioning of tools using the technologies and new materials specific to hard rocks.
