This paper aims comparisons of data obtained by different methods of data acquisition. Will present aspects of quality data obtained with Leica total station ultra 802, with GPS equipment from Leica 1200 Series and comparison of these data with altimetry data obtained using LIDAR technology. Measurements were made in ?ag - Par?a area, of Timi? county, on a length of approximately 4 km and over a width of 50 meters left and right from the center. Using LIDAR technology we can realize 3D models, can be detected and removed points outside from the interesed area, also can filtering data, generate DTM and DSM profiles of elevation - in different formats, can create the TIN model, creating contours, slopes distribution and points classification. All these data will be obtained using the Global Mapper. To obtain the LIDAR data sets, in this paper we make the data acquisition using two LIDAR modules. In the first step will make data acquisition using module ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer) version 1 ASTER GDEM1 (Global Digital Elevation Model), which is a Japanese sensor launched by NASA that comprises 99% of the Earth's surface having a very good resolution. The second module used for comparing data, the module will be SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mision - NASA) which was launched by NASA and METI. Module resolution SRTM is lower in terms of image quality, but the acquired data are more accurate and closer to the reality on the ground, as will be present in this paper. The Raw Data obtained from the measurements made on the field will be processed using Leica Geo Office Combined situation and the situation plans will be made with AutoCAD using TopoLT and ProfLT module for topographic profiles, Global Mapper and Surfer program. Based on 3D models will be generated level courves, longitudinal and transverse profiles. For a better view of the data will be compared the level courves obtained by these methods and create thematic maps.
