The aim this paper is to demonstrate the disadvantages, causes by destroying defenses dams in the Danube meadow in the area Ostroveni ? Corabia and to present the advantages of the ecosystems resettlement and natural baseline processes. In other words to demonstrate the need for renaturation, combined with modern methods of flood management risk, such as creating flood controlled enclosure. To achieve the goal of this paper have been created maps using ArcMap10.1 program. With their help it could conclude that the ecological reconstruction of the Danube flood plain can be seen as a source of profit. Ecological restoration of the swamp ecosystems of the Danube play a role of "fountain of humidity" would positively influence and will moderate the climate, but also influence the production of primary economic sector, not necessarily given the grain production. Judicious management of the flood plain land areas (forests, lakes) can benefit per unit area compared to any other geomorphologic unit.
