The decisive factor in the process of under pressure networks inspection is determined by the correct choice of the control method in order to observe with great attention the possible faults caused by the physical wear and tear resulting from the long use.
Emphasis is placed on safety conditions of under pressure equipment, which include mandatory minimum technical requirements for periodic checking of under pressure networks for pressurized, liquefied or dissolved gas.
Defectoscopy is a set of procedures used to examine materials and parts in order to discover their faults by detecting, locating and recording the imperfections of metallic materials and their welded joints, as well as assessing the imperfections detected in relation to applicable norms and standards.
The paper presents the optimal inspection and control method for under pressure networks for compressed, liquefied or dissolved gases, represented by the use of defectoscopy technology, in accordance to international principles and practices.
