Saline soils do not play a leading role in human economic activity. At the same time, they occupy large areas in the world and perform important ecological functions ? maintaining the biodiversity and sustainability of natural ecosystems. By the end of 2018, the road and rail bridge between Taman and Crimea will be built. The construction of the bridge, the operation of the road, and the development of the related infrastructure will strengthen the human impact on soil cover in the region. One of the negative effects is soil pollution by oil, oil products, and heavy metals. The conducted study showed a significant effect of chromium, copper, nickel, lead and oil pollution on the biological properties of sor hydromorphic solonchaks. The study found a decrease in the total number of bacteria, the activity of catalase and dehydrogenase, cellulolytic capacity, abundant Azotobacter kind of bacteria, and an increase in soil phytotoxicity. In terms of the negative impact on the biological properties of sor hydromorphic solonchak, heavy metals form the next row: Cr > Pb > Ni > Cu. Saline soils are less resistant to chemical pollution than the zonal soils of the region ? chernozems. Regional environmental standards of content of chromium, copper, nickel, lead and oil in sor hydromorphic solonchak are offered.
