Study of soil cover is particularly important for solving the occurred problems from implementation of infrastructure works of the roads. The soil cover is at the upper part of the Earth's crust and has distinct properties morphological, mineralogical, physical and chemical differences due to climate, relief, waters. The interrelatedness of the various geomorphological, climatic, hydrological and soil factors and the human factor, resulted in a wide variety of soils with specific and constantly evolving. In Timi? County have been identified 8 soil classes with 18 soil types. The multitude of soil types with unfavorable characteristics for construction and maintenance of roads, creates various problems which must be solved. The paper presents the study of the landslide in the Visag place, belonging Victor Vlad Delamarina commune. The study area is located in the hilly relief, named Buzia?, an area with extremely varied relief. The slopes are fragmented by valleys of relative erosion short but powerful grooves. At the edge of these valleys is present complex landslide in steps. Along the roads is depth erosion. The roads in this area are partially affected by landslides and are influenced by surface erosion due to higher slopes is 15%. Output in the Visag, present a landslide with the entire road momentarily stabilized. To observe the phenomenon of the landslide and to take appropriate measures have been executed a series of soil profiles. From analyzes it was highlighted clearly the nature of parent material, soil or clay loam content, which combined with local characteristics of the area, made possible landslide of the road in the slope area. Among the factors that triggered the landslide, anthropogenic factors include, thinning forest belt of the road area, no ditches for water and rapid evacuation preventing the water penetration in the slope. Following these analyzes, we propose to establish the solution to stabilize the slope by a complex system of drainage and road rehabilitation.
