Many entities from energy sector are investing in the rational use of waste generated in the energy production process, using them as valuable raw materials. Measurable economic and environmental benefits associated with the recovery of waste lead to the development of new directions for their reuse. The proper organization of the logistic chain allows for the efficient management of energy waste from the manufacturer's point of view. Innovative technical and process solutions from the energy industry are conducive to sustainable development and to the transition to a closed-loop economy ? a highly desirable concept recently. Taking the subject of ecologistic in the energy waste management system was aimed at separating the waste material flows and indicating the possibility of optimization of technological and logistic processes while minimizing negative impact on the environment. Such an approach is determined by some key actions: eco-design of technological processes towards waste-free technologies, implementation of eco-innovative waste management technologies, recirculation management of materials and associated information, minimization of waste generation and reduction of their harmfulness (also controlling their quality). The article presents an analysis of the logistic chain of energy waste removal for a selected energy company. By evaluating existing technological and process solutions related to waste flows, the role and importance of ecologistic in the waste management system is listed.
