Noxious agents released into the atmosphere that can cause harmful effects on human health and environment are often in the form of a complex of toxic substances in which both solid and gas particles are present. Polluting elements do not remain at the sources where they are produced, but due to influential factors, they are propagated to significant distances. Assessment of pollutant dispersion in the atmosphere is performed using mathematical dispersion models. This study presents the assessment of the impact of pollutants on air quality, that were released as a result of the operation of an IMA 45 asphalt mix plant, which was performed by the mathematical modelling of pollutant dispersion using a Gaussian model, namely the Martin and Tikvart climate model. The amounts of special pollutants (PAH) released by the studied unit are very small and the environmental impact is strictly local - practically within the plant perimeter, without affecting the inhabited. Results obtained in this study showed that the operation of the IMA 45 asphalt mix plant does not represent a pollution source that will have a significant negative impact on the environmental factor "air".
