In the article results of experimental studies concerning the influence of the humidity of gas on CO2 separation of gas mixture CO2/ N2 simulating the exhaust fumes were presented. . In the paper special attention was drawn to the identification of influence and the initial analysis of selected parameters of the performance of polymer membrane on carbon dioxide from the mixture CO2/N2 of relative humidity 100% separation process. In these research the membrane UMS A2 by UBE was used, on which research using only two- and three-component dry gas mixtures was carried out.. It resulted from the requirement of application of dust-free, dry gases in CCS energy technologies (power plants) where these membranes could potentially be applied as CO2 separators. The aim of the study was to check the influence of gas humidity on the parameters of separation of CO2. comparative research carried out for gas mixture CO2/N2 of composition: 20%CO2 80%N2 for dry and moist mixtures (relative humidity of mixture moisturized equaled 100%). This mixture simulated maximum content of CO2 which may appear in the exhaust fumes of energy processes (power plants) while burning natural gas and coal. In the article also characteristics and analysis researches of comparative separations CO2 of CO2 / N2 mixture related to results for dry and humid gas were described. Results from performed research state, that humidity of gas unprofitably influences the parameters of CO2 separation from the mixture 20%CO2 80%N2
