The problem of recreational use of forest areas in modern conditions has gained special relevance. This is due to the following reasons: increase in neuro-psychological stress, number of stressful situations and the desire of the people to remove these loads, i.e. to improve their psycho-physiological state in a forest; development of the road network and means of transport; a variety of landscapes and a wide range of recreational opportunities (recreation, collecting of mushrooms, berries, balneological effect of the forest, comfort, etc.) [ 1]. Currently, the aggravation of the environmental situation and the limited forest resources has caused problems requiring meet the increasing demands of the population, especially in forest recreation. There is a need to organize the flow of holidaymakers, to create certain conditions for them to rest, i.e. to assess the preconditions to identify additional recreational resources, determining the role of forests as the main components in the system of recreational forest. You should also consider that modern production is associated with large expenditure of human energy, leading to emotional fatigue. And only a person in the lap of nature is the Foundation for healthy physical and mental development, so countryside in the woods is one of the most essential factors of recuperation and health. The aim of this study is to assess the major recreational facilities in the North-Eastern part of the Republic of Mari El and the study of the influence of recreational loads on the components of forest phytocenosis.
Tasks:
1. The study of the state of the forest.
2. Study of viability of natural regeneration and undergrowth in plantations.
