The article presents the results of geoecological studies of system of human-made lakes Golubye Ozyora, which are located near the Kaliningrad city. The studies were carried out from 2009 to 2016 in the framework of studying of the regional specific features of the formation of geochemical background of water bodies and the impact of the cross-media pollutions. It was in studies revealed the general characterization of lake-bottom sediments and water including the grain-size measurements; the determination of the hydrochemical parameters like the content of biogenic substances, dissolved oxygen, five-day BOD, permanganate value, water hardness. The heavy metals were also determined in lake-bottom sediments and in water column in total and mobile forms. The water-quality monitoring was throughout the year. The type of water was defined as saltish sodium chloride-hydrocarbonate (mineralization 1-2 ppt). The concentration of biogenic compounds (phosphates, nitrates, nitrites, ammonium nitrogen, BOD) in the water was elevated with a mean of 1.2-2.5 MAC in the years with hot summer (2010, 2013). The concentration of the biogenic substances in the water column during the overgrowing of lakes had the peak value at 1.0 m depth (for the lake Zolotoye) in 2010 and 2013. In 2013-2014, the high values of permanganate oxidizability (2.1 MAC) and some nitrogen and phosphorus compounds (up to 1.5-1.8 MAC) were associated with a high recreational load. The sediment analysis revealed a moderately well sorted medium sand with small amounts of the fine-grained and silty sand. The concentration of the arsenic in all samples was higher than the recommended minimum values but in agreement with regional values. The concentrations of copper and zinc in bottom sediments of the lakes Zolotoye and Forelevoye were significantly higher than mean regional values (about 0.9-1.1 MAC) that can be indicative of anthropogenic pollution
