The noise in the workplace is a health problem of workers. It is estimated that a third of European workers are exposed to noisy working conditions more than a quarter of their working time. Hearing loss caused by noise is still one of the most common occupational disease in Europe, accounting for about one third of all occupational diseases. In order to identify employees and workplaces that are exposed to noise levels should to perform measurements of noise periodically. The methods for determining working conditions must be adapted to measure noise characteristics, duration of exposure, environmental factors and measuring equipment.
In this paper was analysed the noise level from the tailoring hall held by SC Onom Trading SRL, to find out the level of noise to which workers are exposed and the associated risks. The measurements of noise level were made within 3 weeks, in 3 different days. Based on the results of measurement was drawn the graphic representation for both halls of tailoring: cutting room and ironing - stapling - packaged room. For each room were chosen two noise sources. According to the results, the values of the noise level within the company S? Onom Tr?ding SRL does not exceed the limit maximum allowed by law.
