Sludge from sewage formats municipal byproducts are considered "undesirable" that focuses remove pollutants from wastewater and can be a danger to the environment.Lupeni dump was born by storing the waste material resulting from the preparation of coal.The material deposited on the two branches of the heap consists of sandstone rocks clay, marl, carbonaceous shales and sandstones.From the analysis it is observed that: the reaction is slightly alkaline soil (pH = 7.4); humus content: medium to good; containing coarse sand, fine sand texture indicates a medium.These features can help deliver a spontaneous vegetation, but to be played in the economic cycle should choose species that are suited biological re-cultivation of these degraded lands and by using treated sludge. Treated sludge as fertilizer use leads to stimulation and rapid growth of new plantations, therefore it is recommended whenever possible.
They were designed and tested five (5) recipes, composition:
R1 - 100% sterile waste material dump Lupeni;
R2 - 75% sterile waste material dump and 25% digested sludge;
R3 - 50% sterile waste material dump and 50% digested sludge;
R4 - 25% sterile waste material dump and 75% digested sludge;
R5 - 100% digested sludge.
The novelty of the research lies in the possibility of using sludge in the redevelopment of degraded land from a mining region, for example Jiu Valley, by rearranging ecological mining waste dumps.
