The post-mining landscape of Horn? Slezsko is characteristic by intense detorioration of original landscape features and components caused by underground coal mining. There are huge ecosystems changes typical for those landscapes reclaimed by classical nature-friendly methods and procedures. The aim of this study is fitness evaluation of selected trees species using their growth on selected plots for 2016 vegetation period. We have compared individual growth of trees by an orientation toward the cardinal points on which they were measured, trees species, trees height and distance from the trunk. Trees for work projects were selected randomly from different biotops. Finally, we have compared results of measuring of trees from antropogenous biotopes (dumps) with results of trees from natural biotopes and we have evaluated fitness range of various species of wood.
