Sites that arise after mining in our country are mostly unique habitats and should be dealt adequately. This fact is valid in particular for smaller sites of mining and mineral extraction. However, the restoration should not rely just on spontaneous succession. If there in the area are developing or is there a prerequisite of development of plant communities with important species (refuge, hot spots), it is always necessary to support the development of desirable successional stages, and, vice versa eliminate invasive species or overgrowing of shrubs and trees. The mining site/area should be viewed sites improving biodiversity of present very uniform landscape. Work is the outcome of the project TA?R "TB030MZP114? Options of nature close restoration of the territories after mining following on the data resulting from another R&D project ?Sp/2d1/07", which was implemented in the years 2015-2016. The study is intended for conservation agencies as an example of what you can expect from these sites and how to manage them to maximize their contribution to the diversity of our nature.
