|
Ecolabel is an environmental policy tool introduced at European level in 2000 by Ecolabel Regulation. Ecolabel is a tool to promote products with reduced environmental impact throughout their life cycle. These products contribute to an efficient use of resources and a level of environmental protection, offering consumers accurate information about the eco-labeled products. Touristic enterprises that have Ecolabel care for environment and consumer health. If we take the examples of agritourism structures, we will have the advantage of a cleaner environment through reduced use of pesticides, controlled use sanitizers and so on or the biological products from organic farming. The Ecolabel is to cause an increase in the number of consumers, producers and retailers of products with eco-labels, and user services with Ecolabel, which is why organic label is addressed equally to manufacturer?s goods and services, those who sell goods and services and final consumers, too. This paper presents the research results that were made on the field in 2016 about awareness of eco-label services for tourist accommodation and customers availability to consume this type of touristic service with low environmental impact as an integrated part of sustainable management.
