The purpose of the study is to identify the features of additive technology and accordance with them to form a methodology for the economic evaluation of additive technologies application for the titanium production process. The fundamental difference between additive technologies and the traditional is that the improvement of the traditional technological methods aimed at more complete use of waste ? that is, their recycling. The use of additive technologies allows you to move on a new level of rational use of natural resources ? their economical use, which leads to almost no waste. Additive technology due to fundamentally new approach, reflecting the principle of "3D printer"? layer-by-layer forming of products from powder metals, allow you to virtually eliminate waste. So, the economic evaluation of additive technologies should include material capacity indicators for titanium products. The use of the proposed method for titanium production will allow to compare the indicators of the traditional and additive technologies, to estimate the economic features of this advanced method. For material-intensive industries, consuming expensive raw materials, such as production of titanium product, the managementof natural resources is very important. Formation of material capacity indicators system will enable to make an economic assessment and develop recommendations for the improvement of additive technologies.
