The study was performed in order to establish the efficacy of the biological product ?Nemagold? in the control of root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) on tomato crop under plastic tunnel conditions. Experiment was organized on tomato crop (cultivar ?Prekos F1?) strongly attached by root-knot nematode, located in south-east of Romania (Varasti-Giurgiu), during July-September 2016 period. Treatments were applied by drip irrigation during the second vegetation season. ?Nemagold? product having in composition extract of marigold (Tagetes erecta L. - 80%) and seaweed (10%), was tested at total doses of 30 l/ha and 35 l/ha. The both doses have been applied in 3 steps corresponding to the following experimental variants: V1= 10 l/ha x 3 applications at intervals of 30 days; V2= 15 l/ha at first application + 10 l/ha x 2 applications at intervals of 15 days; V3= untreated check. Irrigation rate was 6000 liter water per hectare. First application was made 5 days after crop planting. Evaluation of root attack degree was performed at 40 and 90 days after first application by using a scoring chart (John Bridge & Sam Page, 1980) from 0 to 10. Product efficacy varied between 17.5% - V1 and 70.0% -V2 at 40 days after 1-st application. At 90 days, efficacy registered 22.1% - V1 and 59.0% - V2, while at the untreated tomato crop (V3), the nematodes attack degree has attained 34.3% and 79.3% after 40 and respectively 90 days. Data were statistical assured. ?Nemagold? used at total dose of 35 l/ha gave the best results, providing a very significant decreasing (11% at 40 days; 32, 5% at 90 days) of root-knot nematodes attack, during the vegetation season.
