This study of an alloyed steel with Cr, Mo which has an important content of aluminum (0.9,?1.2)%, unconventional treated in magnetic field, is attractive because of the increasing of the durability and the wear resistance along with the improvement of the corrosion resistance. Thermo-magnetic treatments applied before the thermo-chemical treatment has consequences such as the improvement of the mechanical properties of this material. The micro-hardness of the superficial layers has been increased after the unconventional treatment in magnetic field because of the obtained characteristics of the steel after some thermo-magnetic treatment regimes. The behavior of the steel for construction at the corrosion tests was used as criterion. This paper is a review of the personal researches and presents the changes of the resistance of the corrosion after non-conventional treatment regimes and after the corrosion tests for a Cr, Mo alloyed steel. A statistical analysis completed this study. After an experimental program, the obtained values were used to determine a correlation between these variables through an empirical study, to establish a causal relationship between them, using a statistical method. The evolution of the corrosion characteristics of the non-conventional treated steel during the corrosion tests was studied.
