The earthquakes are very complex physical phenomena characterized by violent or chaotic movements of the Earth's crust. Seismic engineering is one of the most important parts of building dynamics. From this perspective, the present work has as its first objective the analysis of the behavior of a structure in seismic action. The most important aspects of the seismic movement that define the purpose of this analysis are the effects on constructions, i.e. the stresses and deformations developed in the structural elements during the strong earthquakes. The seismic hazard in Romania is due to the contribution of two factors: the major contribution of the Vrancea sub_crust seismic zone and other contributions coming from surface seismogenic areas distributed throughout the country. The target areas of this study are two cities located in different counties: Tulcea and Buzau located in Romania. The building is seismically tested in the two seismic hazard zones using different land accelerations. For this test, the structure is inserted into an automatic computing program for structures where seismic simulations are made with different assumptions depending on the selected locality. The results are displayed focused on various moments in which the structure oscillates in two different phases, namely when the seismic force acts in the main direction x and when the seismic force acts on the other main direction y. Before performing the seismic simulation, the pre-dimensional structure was attributed to loadings of the building's own weight, wind load, snow load, and payload. All of these loads were defined in separate load cases and finalized with the generation of the combination of the masses. The results obtained are useful in the design of the reinforced concrete frames located in areas with seismic risk. The fundamental problem in structural dynamics is the determination of the response of a system under the effect of a dynamic action, which may be an external dynamic force or it can be the acceleration of the ground applied at the base of the structure. Thus, we can emphasize that the relative displacements associated with the defromation of the structure are the most important, since the efforts in the elements of the structure are in a direct relationship with the deformations.
