The paper presents the solution of the actual problem - the geomechanical substantiation of rockburst hazardous deposits mining in the conditions of the mountainous topography at a depth of up to 1000 m from the surface. Four fundamentally possible variants of mining at level +10 m of the Kirovsky mine owned by the Apatit joint-stock company, which develops the Kukisvumchorr and Yukspor apatite-nepheline deposits, are considered.
A three-dimensional geomechanical model which includes a long section of the Khibiny massif has been developed. The SigmaGT software was used, which implements the finite-element method in a volumetric formulation and allows modeling stress and strain fields taking into account the main geological and mining-engineering factors. The compressive stress concentration and stress relief areas in rock mass at different stages of mining, as well as estimated areas of increased geodynamic hazard have been identified. The hazard level is shown when approaching the stoping front with a thick fault structure (the Saamsky fault). The safe mining principles at deposits developed at great depths in tectonically stressed rock masses are formulated. |
