A change in the groundwater formation conditions occurs under the influence of human impact on the environment. Changes relate to both quantitative indicators of formation, such as natural reserves and natural resources, and qualitative, such as mineralization, temperature, chemical composition and gas composition. The impact of changes in natural conditions under the influence of economic activity on the conditions of groundwater formation in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the impact of climate changes on the groundwater formation are considered. Specific examples of changes in the conditions of groundwater formation in the last 50 years are given. Analysis of changes in the conditions of groundwater formation made it possible to distinguish human economic activity as the main factor of change, with the subordinate role of climate changes.
