Modeling the elastic properties of rocks may be one of the characteristics of the investigated geological section. In modeling, a connection is established between the main characteristics of the reservoir: porosity and pore shape, saturation, and mineral composition. In this article, the results of petrophysical interpretation and modeling of the elastic properties are presented on the example of sandy deposits from one of the fields in Western Siberia. At the first stage, the well with a full geophysical complex and laboratory data on core research was chosen to adjust the measurements of acoustic and density logs. Further adjustment of parameters for modeling was carried out using petrophysical interpretation and estimation of parameters affecting the elastic properties of the reservoir. The results of rock physics modeling obtained at the control well allowed us to expand the geophysical complex in the wells with the absence of density and acoustic logging. In addition to expanding the possibilities of petrophysical interpretation, the obtained rock physics model can be used in combination with the interpretation of seismic data to identify zones of different velocities.
