Modern trends in open-pit mining in the extractive industry are mainly due to the safety and efficiency of the development of mineral deposits. At the same time, one of the main problems of open mining is the providing of guaranteed stability of the slopes and, in general, the pit walls. Extraction of deposits in extreme conditions with a high degree of geological and structural uncertainty and technological activity significantly reduces acceptable levels of both technological and financial risks. In this connection, the issues of strengthening of the structural elements of quarry excavations, as well as various kinds of slopes of engineering structures are very relevant and significant.
To solve the highlighted problem, the publication provides a comprehensive geomechanical assessment of strength and operability of enclosing types of anchor systems, which gives a complete picture of the effectiveness of their use in various geological and engineering conditions of quarries. In accordance with the conducted mathematical modeling, the results were obtained and the main provisions on the strength of the elements and nodes of the cable-anchor and cable-mesh fastening of rock ledges were formulated, depending on their parameters and loading conditions. |
