In the development of mineral deposits by the underground method, geomechanical processes are manifested, which significantly affect the quality of ore, the cost of production and the safety of mining operations. Insufficiently valid choice of geomechanical steady spans of outcrops can lead to a sudden collapse and formation in clearing workings, thereby reducing the safety of mining. The work provides a definition of sustainable roof exposures of the clearing workings according to the method of S.V. Vetrov for fractured rocks in the conditions of the III ore pillar of the Badran deposit in the Oymyakonsky district of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). First of all, the strength and elastic properties of rocks and ores of the III ore column of the deposit on the horizon +490 were analyzed, then a steady outcrop was calculated using the condition of eliminating the formation of a false roof, first, for the ore deposit represented by milonites with quartz, quartz and secondly, for the ore deposit represented by milonites, aleurolites milonitized. In the end, the dependences of the allowable spans of the roof exposures of the sewage chambers on the thickness of the direct roof for siltstones, silt sands and milonitized rocks in the fracture blocks were obtained. Fracture blocks are considered in three categories: strongly fractured, medium fractured and weakly fractured rocks. The results are presented in the form of recommendations for fixing clearing workings. It was revealed that the ore bodies and the enclosing crushing zones of the III ore pillar of the Badran deposit belong to the poorly resistant ones; therefore, it is necessary to provide for temporary safety support when conducting cleaning works.
