The process of training on the training complexes depends on the realism of the user's interaction with the developed virtual world. Despite the implementation in recent years of many ways to manage virtual objects, the problem of realistic human movement remains relevant. The use of conventional treadmills is justified in the entertainment field. In the field of training of the personnel of ergatic systems it is necessary to model more precisely a relief of a surface on which the user moves. Therefore, in this article we consider the structural model of the hardware-software platform based on a controlled treadmill. The proposed design of the platform provides the ability to control the speed, direction and angle of inclination within large limits. This will significantly improve the realism of the user's movement in the virtual world. The article also discusses the approaches to the implementation of an omnidirectional treadmill as a direction for further research. The presented scientific results can be used for the analysis and hardware-software implementation of controlled treadmills for their subsequent use in entertainment and training complexes.
