Experience in the use of enhanced oil recovery methods shows that the main factor responsible for efficiency of the treatment is the correct choice of a particular technology for certain geological and physical reservoir conditions and the stage of development. Considering complex geological structure and low productivity of high-viscosity oil reservoirs in the Volga-Ural petroleum province, development of an integrated stimulation technology is a priority.
The paper presents a promising concept of formation stimulation to improve high-viscosity oil production. Optimal injection systems to be injected through injection and production wells have been determined, including plugging and oil displacement agents, and water-shutoff gel compositions; optimal concentrations of chemical agents have been calculated. It is shown that to be able to evaluate the effectiveness of different injected systems when using reservoir models it is essential to create similar parameters in the process of models? preparation and based on the results of primary displacement. It was found that the results of laboratory experiments to determine diverter characteristics using sand pack models are essential to understand the behavior of flow-diverter systems in a heterogeneous porous medium and for field tests.
