The article is devoted to the implementation of predictive data analysis in energy resource management systems. An analytical review of modern methods used to verify information about the energy and resource consumption of distributed objects and the construction of mathematical models for its forecasting has been performed. It is reflected the positive and negative aspects of the use of predictive analytics as a source of data for planning the activities of organizations. The need for implementation is justified by the results of the analysis of successful examples of using these methods: from customer retention to reducing production costs. The analysis of the current level of digitalization of the industry, as well as the proportion of intelligent controls in the composition of modern automated systems dispatching energy resources. The features of the functioning of data collection systems in the systems of accounting for resource consumption, which make it impossible to use existing tools and require the development of a specialized solution, are presented. An assessment of the socio-economic potential of the implementation of the proposed approaches.
