The presented paper is focused on evaluation of progress stability of atherosclerotic plaques which were examined using B-MODE during at least 5 years. For this study have been examined total of 482 patients. For each patient are stored data of atherosclerotic plaque separately in left and right carotid artery. The goal of this study is to observe progress of the plaque width in transversal section. The width has been measured using diagnostic ultrasound with resolution 0.04 mm; measured width has accuracy of 0.1 mm. Examined patients were observed and continuously examined each 6 months during at least 5 years; for each patient are stored at least 10 measured values for left and right carotid artery. Majority of patients are at the age ? 50 years. The data have been stored into information system ISSV based on PHP application and were exported into CSV files for analysis and subsequently visualized using Canvasjs online application. As the first step, all visualized values were divided only with visual assessment. The core of the research is to analyze extreme values between examinations. The first phase is focused on investigation of global maximum, minimum and range of each examined patient. The second phase is based on investigation of local changes between each examination (6 months) and to eliminate extreme peaks. For this purpose were computed values difference between each examination, maximum and minimum difference and count of difference which are lower than -0.6 mm and/or higher than 0.6 mm. This computation defines stability progress of the plaque. This evaluation could be starting point for future long-term clinical studies.
