For the implementation of the management system and drawing for persons with special health needs using the device eye tracing is required to develop the minimal necessary set of commands. The command system is a tool for the user to interact with the system using only vision. Commands should provide the ability to control the following functions: tool selection, color selection, selection of shape (object), the choice of coordinates for drawing.
The minimum set of commands that you need to control: move the mouse, click the mouse. Moving the mouse cursor can be realized by moving the focus of the eyes on the screen, but there is a problem, the user can change his view not to control the system, and then any reaction of the body. This problem is common in the construction of software interfaces of this kind. The existing methods of control by sight are characterized by relatively good accurate, high-speed and ergonomic indicators when typing. However, when trying to apply them to a wider range of tasks, we are faced with the fact that a person's ability to fix a look or transform gestures into commands for technical devices is too indiscriminate and leads to switching between several commands. To solve this problem, you can use an electroencephalograph. With it, you can analyze the electrical activity of the brain and on this basis to make the assumption, whether eye movement is a deliberate process of human interaction with the system or it happened for another reason. The movement of the eyes, as well as the movement of the mouse by a normal user, is noisy. The user can?t move his eyes on a flat line, because of this there is a problem of moving the cursor. To improve the operation of the click, you need to add another state that will precede the click, it can be called "selecting the click area". The meaning of this state is that the user, looking at the point at which he wants to make a click, after a certain time sees a graphical selection of this area. If it is true, then it continues to watch and the mouse button is pressed. If wrong, he can translate the view to the target point. To find the optimal time threshold, experiments are carried out, which will ensure the accuracy of the desired click and the selection of the optimal area with the operation of not less than 95%. |
