The paper presents the decision support system (DSS) for mitigation and elimination the consequences of natural disasters, which consists of permanent functional and territorial subsystems.
Functional subsystems are created to ensure the readiness of the forces and means subordinate to them to actions aimed at mitigation, reaction and elimination the consequences of natural disasters. These include a monitoring subsystem, a subsystem for creating a reserve of civilian forces and means of protection, a reserve of material and financial resources, a subsystem for mitigation and elimination the consequences of natural disasters, a subsystem for medical protection of the population, a subsystem for warning about the threat or occurrence of natural disasters. Territorial subsystems are created with the aim of taking measures to protect the population and territories from the effects of the damaging factors of natural disasters in the relevant region of the country. The implementation of the main functional tasks in the DSS occurs due to the interaction of functional and territorial subsystems. |
