As a result of mining activity on the earth?s surface the phenomena that have negative effect on the objects in area of influence of extracted area exist. Depending on geomechanical qualities of hanging wall and surrounding rocks, geological conditions of depositing, seam and depth of position of deposit, critical angle of influence, way and time course of mining and other parameters the horizontal and vertical movements always appear to a greater or lesser extent. They can be described by inclination, proportional horizontal deformation, subsidence and radius of curvature. These movements cause damage of load-bearing and auxiliary construction elements of objects which are not protected and they can result the destruction of them.
The main aim of the project is to create an electronic database of the listed objects and historic buildings which are effected by mining activities or situated in industrial agglomerations with the use of photogrammetric methods and 3D laser scanning technology. We can document the whole object to the last details and complicated planes in this way. A detailed computer model is important to civil - historical survey, reconstruction and restoration works. The survey images have the significant documentational value in the study of the phenomena and they have more information ability than the standard documentation. In detailed digitized objects we can read not only geometric parameters but identify potencial damages owing to mining works and atmospheric influences especially if we can compare the resultes of periodic measurements.
