In the case of construction works monitoring and the land on which they are situated, the observations can be made with classic or modern equipment granted it meets the precision requirements imposed by this type of work. The data collection stage is followed by their processing and final results, for the ongoing stage, the values of the monitored parameters.
Regardless of the equipment and the method used to process the elements measured in the field, the in situ comparison of the results of the current observations with those from the previous stages and those from the initial stage is particularly useful, providing on-site information on the performance of the monitored constructions and the evolution of monitored parameters.
This paper introduces a procedure for recording, checking and processing the observations taken through a network for monitoring the vertical movements of a building and for presenting the resulting values and comparing them with the values from the previous stages.
The suggested procedure is accessible, it is possible to create templates according to the specific configuration of the leveling network, the data processing method is quick but precise and it makes it possible for designing an image related to the displacements that occur, by in situ comparison of the current results with the earlier.
