The methodology ICZM is the modern approach to the realization of the concept of the sustainable development of marine regions.
Modern geoinformation systems (GIS) are the optimal means for presentation of spatially distributed data on an electronic cartographic basis. Complex management of the coastal zone region can be organized on the bases of this data?s for analysis, monitoring and management of a marine health resort. The automated information systems of support and of decision-making are the basis for formation of the systems of forecasting, monitoring and management of natural processes in coastal sea regions. All information on the processes happening in the region has to gather in the form of multi-purpose databases of indicators, parameters, criteria for evaluation of processes, calculation procedures and the analysis of the indicators grouped in spheres of activity; in the form of knowledge bases of experts in various areas of ecological management and in the form of data-bases of standard decisions The structure of the regional GIS is presented on an example of the Russian Black Sea region Sochi. Principal components and the basic modules of the system, their assign-ment, structure of data and models which will be used for solving of regional problems are determined. |
