The main objective of the research is to determine the problems of the temporary (non-final) cadastral maps (such as: some delimiting maps, details technical survey plans, and pen drawing maps), the influence of such unfinished plans on cadastral land parcels, and propose appropriate solutions to move to the final status.
The study was conducted in the directorate of cadastral interests in the governorate of Tartous ? Syria, and how to implement the cadastral works[6]. It was found that the cadastral works in many cadastral regions are based on temporary (non-final) plans. These regions led to the discontinuation of each region at the stage of production of the final cadastral map[4]. In searching for the reasons for this situation, there were problems in the cadastral works carried out in these regions, which led to the discontinuation of each region at one stage of production of the final cadastral map. Then, the existing problems that disables the production of the final cadastral map and their reasons have been identified. We classified these problems according to the order of execution of the cadastral works: the works of delimiting, the works of the technical survey (details survey), the works of pen drawing[6]. In order to move these temporary plans to the final status; suitable solutions methodology was proposed to address each type of existing plan?s problems. These solutions are as follows: 1. The first special solution, statistical tables were designed ?at the level of each cadastral region - to identify problem sites (land parcels, cadastral plan, cadastral polygons, ? etc.), their types and numbers. 2. Then, field technical solution methodology was proposed to correct the wrong measurements and complete the deficiencies based on the results of the statistical study. 3. An office solution was proposed to recalculate and modify polygons, and then draw cadastral maps based on the results of field measurements. Finally, conclusions and main recommendations were presented. |
