Data on detailed geochemical research reveal the specific features of the bottom sedimentation. Changes in sedimentation are caused by climate impact, chemical weathering intensity, distance from the source area, basin redox conditions and many other factors. Values of petrochemical modules (CIA, Fe/Mn, Ba/Sr, Sr/Ca) show changes in physical and geographical conditions and their influence on the sediments composition. Reconstruction of the paleoecological conditions of the environmental development based on geochemical sediment data allowed us to specify the patterns of natural and anthropogenic environment evolution, and the regional features identification allows us to construct consecutive alterations of the paleographic and paleoclimatic conditions within large areas. It may be said as well that radiocarbon analysis results, correlated with defined geochemical zoning, lead to reconsideration of some natural and anthropogenic history episodes.
