This paper tackles a research concerning the restoration for agricultural purposes of different soils affected by landslide phenomena. Landslide is an erosion process which adversely affects the relief, and the damage caused to life and to the environment as a whole are considerable. Nevertheless, soils are the most seriously affected by landslide, as they lose a vital characteristic: their fertility.
Research has been conducted on several experimental fields, set up on different types of non-evolved soil, in order to determine the best methods that specialists may use to turn landslide to agricultural advantage. The research was aimed at finding optimal agro-technical treatments that may be applied on parent materials (sandy and clay soils). These layers reached the surface when they were pushed from the depths as a consequence of landslide phenomena, and also following the levelling ? modelling of developed land. The research described in this paper dwells on the findings of the study conducted on a single experimental field developed after landslide in the Upper Berheci River catchment area in Bacau County, Romania. We analysed the level of dry substance production obtained in the 3 fertilization variants, with different mixtures of perennial grasses. One of the most important findings of this study would be that the interaction of the 3 factors, namely fertilization method, fertilizer doses and mixture of perennial grasses, revealed great variation of the average amounts of dry substance produced (2 to 5 t/ha). |
