Environmentally clean and economically sound energy systems widely use renewable low-grade energy of soil and water for functioning of geothermal and hydrothermal heat pump systems. Analysis of existing systems demonstrates that they are not always adjusted to actual operating conditions and object location. The scientific approach to development of appropriate configuration of thermal collector, to methodology of their optimal mounting and to efficiency determination depending on operating conditions is quite topical issue. The paper describes the results of experimental research of efficiency of two heat pump energy systems where low-grade heating energy of soil and low-grade heating energy of water are used as renewable primary heating energy source for functioning of the heat pump. Two experimental systems (geothermal and hydrothermal) were developed for that purpose. Both underground and ground sections of the system have mounted sensors of temperature, pressure and coolant flow velocity. The software for archiving and visualization of obtained data was developed. The research procedure was developed. As part of study observation data were received and performance efficiency of each system was calculated. The comparative analysis was carried out and conversion effectiveness of heat pump energy system was calculated depending on used renewable energy source. The data obtained as part of study have great scientific and applied significance for engineering of geothermal and hydrothermal energy systems.
