The article deals with a numerical simulation of the forced airflow around a heat exchanger with the finned tubes in the electrotechnical box, by finite volume method in the program Fluent implemented in the program ANSYS Workbench. The work contains an analysis of the impact of forced airflow on the heat exchanger with the various placed the electrical components. The primary objective of this work is to analyze and evaluate the numerical simulation models to optimize the forced flow around the heat exchanger and to ensure the most efficient removal of heat from the enclosure space. Numerical simulation is one of the ways to analyze the behaviour of the modeled system as it is designed to avoid unnecessary complications in the actual implementation of the project. Based on several considerations to evaluate how we can optimize the flow in the enclosure area will be most effective for solving the problem of heat dissipation from a closed electrical box. The paper presents several variants of possible solutions.
