Vegetation takes an active part in the processes of migration and transformation of chemical compounds on the earth's surface. The intensity of biogenic migration of chemical elements is determined mainly by the chemical composition of plants. Different availability of soil chemical elements and causes their different accumulation in agricultural plants. The widespread use of fertilizers, pesticides, active development of industry in the study region - all these factors can be attributed to the Rostov region at risk for agricultural products.
The agro-industrial complex, characterized by high-performance agriculture, has been widely developed in the region. Most of its territory is occupied by agricultural land, represented mainly arable land. Within these territories, agricultural crops such as grains and legumes, industrial crops, vegetables, fruits and fodder grasses have been developed. Since 2005 along with the geochemical researches of soils biogeochemical approbation of the main crops which are grown up in the territory of the area was carried out. In the course of the research specific differentiation of the main crops by vanadium, grown up on different types of soils was studied. The acropetal character of the distribution of vanadium in cereal crops of the Rostov region was revealed. Using the content of the element in soils, the biological absorption coefficient and bioaccumulation index of these metals in different types of vegetation were calculated, which made it possible to rank them according to the ability to accumulate V. |
