This paper presents a cross-sectional analysis of the noise on the navigation bridge of a commercial ship that navigates a section of the Romanian Danube segment. This room is important because here are given all the commands for safe navigation so the conditions inside it must be of the highest quality. Determinations were carried out on the pusher, between Braila and Calarasi, in February 2018, in very difficult weather conditions. The noise was measured with BlueSolo 01dB sonometers. These were placed on the navigation bridge; the determinations lasted 10 minutes at 1-hour intervals, in several cases: moving away from the shore, running ship and mooring maneuver. The dBFA 32 software calculated Leq [dB(A)] for certain frequencies at certain moments and presented them in the form of frequency spectrum charts at those exact moments and in the timeline of those frequencies. It appears that, in all cases, these averages are equal to or greater than the maximum value of 65 dB(A) given by MSC.337 (91) Resolution, adopted on 30.11.2012 framed by the Code on Noise Levels on Ships so the noise has an acceptable or slightly disturbing level, but according to the regulations of the Directive 2003/10/EC and the Law no. 319/2006 on occupational safety and health, with subsequent amendments, the noise is far exceeding the Exposure limit values.
