The article is devoted to identifying features of digital transformation of the geoeconomic system and its main segments, the most important of which is the energy sector. The analysis of potential of extraction and transportation of oil and gas (natural, liquefied, shale gas) in the medium term is given. The conditions and main factors for ensuring energy security, as well as overcoming the energy poverty of national economies, have been identified. In the fields of diversification of energy types, the directions and potential of using renewable energy sources and the possibility of accelerating the development of alternative and low-carbon energy have been determined. Geopolitical, financial, economic and environmental risks in the global energy markets are systematized. The approach to determining the impact of changing pricing mechanisms and increasing energy tariffs on industrial production, the production of consumer goods and inflation in the economy is substantiated. A model is proposed that includes two groups of energy pricing parameters: variable costs and demand variables. It was concluded that in the conditions of digital transformation of geo-economic systems and, above all, energy systems, at the global, national, interregional levels, their regulatory information subsystems and energy clusters are converging. As a result of such digital convergence, synergistic effects arise that lead to a decrease in the entropy of the global geo-economic space and lead to an increase in the efficiency of its management.
