Recycling as a process of using returnable resources is the basis of the modern approach to the organization of industrial production on the basis of the principles of green, circular economy. This concept of organization of production is based on the cycle of production and consumption in order to ensure the maximum possible reuse of resources and prevent harmful effects on the environment, which is an integral part of the environmental management program. Currently, this approach is actively used all over the world: in the EU, USA, China, Japan, Russia, etc.there are significant theoretical and practical achievements in this area. .The powerful natural resource potential of Russia requires careful attitude to its use and active application of world achievements in the field of recycling, both in the field of technological, economic and organizational solutions. Purpose of research. Analysis of modern trends in the organization of resource recycling and identification of the most promising solutions. A description of the methodology. Expansion of methodological and methodical approaches to solving the problem of resource recycling.. Main results. The analysis of modern trends in the organization of recycling resources. The main trends in the field of resources recycling are determined. It is established that territorial innovation clusters as a modern type of organization of production have the greatest potential in this area. Recommendations for improving the recycling of resources in the field of metallurgy have been developed.
