Animals have always accompanied man in specific activities, but also have provided the food supply through products of the livestock and food industries. Nutritionists remind us that we need meat, milk and eggs, as main products of livestock. Nowadays, the livestock sector is modernly equipped and it is coordinated by IT programs, which is why production can be anticipated, including risks. At the same time, modernity does not exclude the specificity of the place where livestock is concerned, to which the farmer is concerned with good conditions, regardless of the area (plain, hill, mountain). Reference is also made to farm waste, energy-intensive and fertilizer. Research in the field has also outlined some negative aspects at the planetary level, for example on cattle breeding. It is desirable to address this issue. Thus, reference is made to the number of staff registered in the Romanian statistics, the method of growth and the correlation with some emanations belonging to the group of greenhouse gases. The result leads to the diversification of the species raised in the agricultural holdings, taking into account the nutritional and modernity aspect.
