Deformation analysis represents an actual and important theme, therefore methods for improving the tracking and analysis process of deformations, both for constructions and for lands, as well as diminishing the necessary time for deformation analysis, are the main concerns for the specialists and not only.
When it comes to major constructions or constructions of particular importance, deformation analysis proves to be an extremely important tool. The results of the analysis can be used in decision-making systems for risk management to prevent major damage to the environment and even human factor in the event of extreme phenomena or of their non-conforming exploitation. In order to obtain results in a shorter time and to be able to make predictions about the behavior of the studied construction and the land it is located on, one can choose to create a deformations model. This paper aims to present the steps taken to create deformation model by finite element and Kalman Filter methods, as well as the obtained results in both cases, highlighting the advantages and limitations of each analyzed and applied method. |
